Senior/ Staff/ Principal - Silicon Design Validation Engineer

As a NAND Silicon Design Validation Product Engineer at Micron Technology, your role will involve the development, validation, characterization, and qualification of new pioneering NAND Flash memory products. You will have the opportunity for individual learning and career growth in a rapidly growing function within Micron India. Additionally, you will collaborate multi-functionally with NAND R&D, Design, and other engineering teams towards new product startup, defining, validating, and delivering product specifications and requirements. As a Product Engineer, you will act as the key product-specific point of contact with high transparency for critical issues and serve as the main interface between Research and Development, Manufacturing, Business Units, and Quality Assurance departments. Responsibilities: - Solid understanding & experience of Analog VLSI Design is crucial - Ability to lead technical task forces with accountability and ownership - NAND product design development, validation, characterization & qualification preferred - Experience in simulation and debugging silicon signals from bench testing - Hands-on measurements on wafer probe stations and testers for invent validation - Drive timely issue resolution with multi-functional teams for improved validation & root cause understanding Qualifications: - Excellent data analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills - Solid base of mixed-signal VLSI including analog circuits, digital logic, and RTL design - Understanding of Flash memory architecture and operation - Proficiency in bench testing equipment such as o-scope, logic analyzer, Nextest Magnum, etc - Knowledge in writing testbenches in SV, Verilog, Verilog-AMS, Spice - Fundamental programming/scripting skills in C/C++, Python, Perl, Verilog - Effective communication and presentation skills Technical Skills: - Experience in device modeling in TCAD and MATLAB, Device Fabrication - Strong fundamentals in Analog VLSI design - Tools knowledge: Teradyne's Magnum, Verilog, ModelSim, Cadence Virtuoso, Oscilloscope - Python, C skills would be an added advantage Education: - Master's degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering or related fields + 8 years" experience - Coursework in VLSI technology, analog/digital circuits, semiconductor process, and semiconductor device physics Micron Technology, Inc. is an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions with a relentless focus on customers, technology leadership, and manufacturing excellence.
