Job Description

Key Responsibilities: - Staff Nurse - ICU

Provide direct patient care in ICU, including monitoring vitals, administering medications, and managing ventilators and life-support equipment.
Perform continuous assessment and documentation of patient condition.
Assist doctors during procedures and respond to emergency situations swiftly.
Ensure infection control protocols and ICU hygiene standards are strictly followed.
Communicate effectively with patients families, explaining treatment plans and updates.
Maintain accurate records and update nursing notes in the patient file and EMR.
Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement programs.
Ensure safe and proper handover during shift changes.
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and code of conduct.

Key Responsibilities - WARD

Provide direct patient care including medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and nursing assessments.
Maintain accurate and timely nursing records.
Prepare and assist during patient investigations and procedures.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment, care, and discharge instructions.
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
Ensure proper handover during shift changes.
Coordinate with doctors, housekeeping, pharmacy, and other departments for effective patient care.
Handle emergency situations as per hospital protocol.
Maintain ward cleanliness, inventory, and equipment.
Support and train junior nursing staff and students when required.

Key Responsibilities - ER

Assess, triage, and monitor patients arriving at the ER.
Provide emergency medical care and nursing support as per physician directions.
Initiate and manage IV lines, administer medications, and assist with emergency procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records, nursing notes, and treatment charts.
Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, procedures, or surgeries.
Provide emotional support to patients and families during emergency situations.
Ensure availability and readiness of ER equipment and supplies.
Comply with infection control, patient safety, and hospital protocols.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
