Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Install, manage, and troubleshoot Linux servers with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Manage disk partitions and LVM configurations.
Create and manage users, groups, and sudo privileges.
Work with ext4 and XFS file systems.
Perform patching using yum, apt, and other package management tools.
Configure and manage SSSD for authentication.
Develop and maintain Shell/Bash scripts to automate system tasks and processes.
Create, manage, and monitor cron jobs for scheduled operations.
Understand and troubleshoot basic networking concepts related to Linux OS.
Document issues, resolutions, and operational procedures accurately.
Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation throughout the year.

Good to Have

Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud environments.
RHEL certification.

Requirements

Strong experience in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
Hands-on knowledge of LVM, user/group management, file systems (ext4, XFS), patch management, cron jobs, and SSSD.
Ability to write and understand Shell/Bash scripts.
Good understanding of Linux networking fundamentals.
Ability to work in on-call rotational support models.
Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
