Job Description

We are seeking a Senior SQL Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable and robust database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise, capable of collaborating effectively across multiple teams and departments. Key Responsibilities: Design and architect scalable, high-performance SQL Server database systems. Lead data modeling, database design, and ETL process development. Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless database integration. Maintain and enforce database standards, best practices, and comprehensive technical documentation. Troubleshoot complex database issues and optimize system performance. Implement strong security and compliance frameworks for database environments. Mentor and guide junior database professionals to enhance team capabilities. Mandatory Technical Skills: 10+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server. Expertise in advanced T-SQL programming, data modeling, and performance tuning. Proven experience with high availability technologies: Clustering, Mirroring, Always-On. Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or equivalents. Familiarity with cloud database services like Azure SQL and AWS RDS. Strong knowledge of database security, Business Intelligence (BI), and Data Warehousing (DW) concepts. Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and best practices.
