Job Description

As a Control Services Analyst at LSEG, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the internal control operations across various processes in the COO department. Your responsibilities will include: - Being accountable for the internal control operation and ensuring a clear understanding of the objectives and risks being mitigated. - Preparing and revising standard operating procedures for controls as needed. - Completing control operations with accuracy and within defined timelines. - Gathering and storing evidence for future retrieval purposes. - Collaborating with customers/partners to align operational process changes with control design and operation. - Identifying and raising control-related issues to respective teams for timely closure. - Recommending and implementing improvements to control processes and participating in projects for simplification. - Ensuring audits are conducted to the required standard and leading process walkthroughs for external auditors. - Organizing and attending internal meetings and supporting in responding to information requests from customers/partners. Additionally, you will develop an understanding of the LSEG control framework and policies, work closely with control owners and Risk LODs, and support the preparation and reporting of MI/KRIs. Your experience/skills requirements include: - Operations background with a focus on internal control design and operation. - Bachelor's degree with proven experience and skills. - Clear communication skills with the ability to multitask and solve problems independently. - A focus on continual improvement and an innovative approach to work. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Data analytics skills would be an advantage.
