Job Description

Role Overview: LSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider, playing a crucial role in the world's financial system. As part of the team reporting to the Team Lead - Controls Services, you will be responsible for operating internal controls across different processes within COO. Your role will involve ensuring the accurate completion of control operations within defined timelines, collaborating with customers/partners to understand operational process changes, raising control-related issues, recommending and implementing improvements to control processes, and supporting audits. Key Responsibilities: - Be accountable for the internal control operation. - Ensure understanding of internal controls, objectives, and associated risks. - Prepare/revise standard operating procedures for controls as needed. - Complete control operations accurately and within defined timelines. - Gather and store evidence for future retrieval. - Collaborate with customers/partners to align control design with operational changes. - Raise and resolve control-related issues within set timelines. - Recommend and implement improvements to control processes. - Prepare for audits and lead process walkthroughs for external auditors. - Organize and attend internal meetings, responding to information requests from customers/partners. Qualifications Required: - Demonstrated ability in operations background with a preference for experience in Order Management/AP/AR or BSR. - Any bachelor's degree with proven relevant experience and skills. - Strong communication skills with clarity and precision. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Ability to multitask, work independently, and solve problems. - Focus on continual improvement and innovative approaches to work. - Strong understanding of operational processes. - Data analytics skills would be advantageous.
