Role & responsibilities Assisting clients in identifying opportunities or issues that could be resolved through technology and then seeing through those ideas from inception to completion by managing Finance Transformation projects. Providing business consulting and assessments to influence and promote the adoption of proven best practice solutions to deliver clients' strategic objectives. Defining, documenting and delivering small projects or sub-projects Leading the requirements and design workshops Leading the client/stakeholder meetings for the finance and tax technology projects. Reviewing requirements and specifications to design test cases, scripts and conditions mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording and reporting outcomes Identifying and recording risks and issues Developing and documenting change requests Leading the finance and tax solution custom developments and updates of standard operating procedures, training materials and knowledge management Collaborating with 3rd party vendors such as e-involving services providers or compliance outsourcing partners. Participating in research to keep abreast of the trends in technology in the space of finance and tax functions. Contributing to designing and developing tax templates for each jurisdiction and the associated compliance reporting requirements. Coaching associate solution consultants/developers and clients. Writing insights for publication on the company's website . Delivering impact and business value through collaborations across the workstream EXPERIENCE Required : 5-10 years of experience in a Tax or Accounting environment 3-5 years of industry experience 7+ Years of SAP Finance functional experience with strong working experience in Taxation, preferably experience in GST, EU, Brazil, LATAM, and Withholding Tax Experience in Tax determination using the condition technique in SAP Exposure to SAP E-invoicing solution Exposure to Agile ways of working Experience with FICO with SD & MM Integration Should have experience in at least one implementation/migration / rollout project Excellent technical understanding of the taxes and finance/accounting principles. Experience in designing the Finance solutions in at least one or more ERP systems this includes cross-stream integrations with other value chains like, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, etc. Experience in designing the Tax solutions in at least one ERP system - for cross-border transactions and indirect taxes for various jurisdictions Experience in implementing electronic invoicing solutions in Europe and other jurisdictions. Experience in one of the Tax disciplines - Indirect, Direct, transfer pricing, etc. Understanding of the compliance reporting process for both taxes and statutory reporting. Exposure to multiple industry sectors and drawing out the differences between them. Experience with one of the external tax determination tools like ONESOURCE, VERTEX, AVALARA and other tax determination tools Exposure to the compliance reporting tools - e-filings, e-accounting and e-reporting. Preferred : Lead a team of Finance or Tax Technology Consultants to deliver end-to-end solutions Experience with the compliance reporting process for both taxes and statutory reporting Experience of working with financial services businesses and/or large corporates Exposure to the compliance reporting tools - e-filings, e-accounting and e-reporting EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Required : Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics or computer science Part or fully qualified in CTA/ACA or equivalent qualification SAP, ONESOURCE, Vertex, CPA or other technology-related certification (can be in progress or willing to get the qualification) Working knowledge and ability to work with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, MS Teams, SharePoint) Strong communication, collaboration, interpersonal and influencing skills Proven analytical and problem resolution skills and demonstrable planning and organisational skills Preferred : Experience with one of the new technologies such as Robotic Process Automation, data analytics
