Full Stack Developer

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end aspects of web applications. This role requires expertise in various programming languages, frameworks, and databases to ensure seamless integration and functionality. The Full Stack Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that meet client requirements and enhance user experience.

This role is a key position in our newly established innovation centre is a key strategy for Helixr to build effective products to guide our clients in their evolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications, ensuring both front-end and back-end functionality meet business requirements.
• Design user interfaces and implement responsive designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Create server-side logic and integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic using Node.js, Django, Flask, or similar technologies.
• Develop APIs for seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
• Implement database solutions using SQL or databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Firebase.
• Optimize database performance and ensure data security.
• Work with the product team to bring design concepts to fruition
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
• Conduct code reviews, debug issues, and troubleshoot problems to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes and methodologies.
• Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

The Person

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 1-4 years proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Strong understanding of server-side programming languages (Node.js, Python, Java, etc.) and web application frameworks (Express, Django, Spring, etc.).
• Experience with database technologies (SQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub.
• Familiarity with web servers and deployment environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of UX/UI design principles.
• Effective communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Continuous learning mindset and a passion for staying updated on industry trends.
• Proficient in O365 applications.
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
