Role: Senior Software Test EngineerAbout the Role:Leadsquared is seeking a meticulous and proactive QA Engineer to ensure the quality and performance of our Product. You will be instrumental in verifying the functionality, reliability, and scalability of our software through a combination of manual and automated testing techniques. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute significantly to our product development lifecycle within an agile environment.Requirements: * Should have 3-4 years of experience.Manual Testing: * Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test plans and test cases based on functional requirements, user stories, and technical specifications. * Thoroughly test software releases by executing test cases and identifying defects. * Accurately document and track defects using our bug tracking system (e.g., Jira). * Perform regression testing to confirm that resolved defects do not re-emerge and that new features havent introduced regressions. * Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide timely feedback on software quality. * Participate actively in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.API Testing: * Design, develop, and execute API tests using Postman to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of our backend services. * Contribute to the automation of API tests to ensure continuous quality.Automation & Tools: * Build and enhance UI automation frameworks using Selenium or Playwright to ensure comprehensive test coverage. * Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing and faster feedback loops. * Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and methodologies and recommend improvements to our testing processes
