Senior Software Java Developer (Full Stack)

As an experienced full-stack web developer (Java) at Castus, you will contribute to the development of the next generation of customer web experience. You will be part of an agile team and be responsible for designing, developing, and unit testing Restful API services primarily using Java Springboot. Collaboration with Business and IT stakeholders will be essential to anticipate emergent needs and support business agility. **Key Responsibilities:** - Creating/managing REST API endpoints using Java Spring. - Writing Unit and Integration Tests. - Dealing with diverse members of the internal production team and overseas vendors with excellent presentation and communication skills. - Implementation of the software development process, including object-oriented analysis, design, and implementation. **Qualifications Required:** - Hands-on web and mobile applications development experience. - Experience in developing solutions for back-end Java applications and front-end GUI implementations. - Hands-on experience with Java development in a high-volume environment. - Knowledge of various J2EE and servlet containers such as WebSphere. - Proficient in JSON, Struts, Spring, XML, web services (SOAP, REST). - Experience with Continuous Integration and Test Driven Development. - Experience with JIRA, Confluence, GIT (Github, Bitbucket, or other). - Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. - Full-time or Regular Bachelors degree or equivalent in computer science.
