Senior Software Engineer Technical Lead

Role Overview: As a Full Stack Engineer at HappyLocate, you will lead the Core engineering team and play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails. Your expertise in building AI-integrated applications will be crucial in integrating and deploying machine learning/AI models into production systems. You will also be responsible for developing APIs, building intuitive UIs, ensuring performance, scalability, and security across the stack, and participating in architectural discussions to influence product/tech roadmaps. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails. - Develop APIs and services to support AI/ML model integration. - Build intuitive, responsive, and modern UIs (React / Vue.js preferred). - Ensure performance, scalability, and security across the stack. - Optimize databases, caching layers, and background job processing. - Participate in architectural discussions and influence product/tech roadmaps. - Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with strong documentation. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. - Contribute to architectural decisions and system design. Qualification Required: - 4-7 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer (or similar role). - Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails (RESTful APIs, ActiveRecord, Sidekiq/Resque). - Proficiency in front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Next.js). - Solid understanding of PostgreSQL and database optimization. - Familiarity with AI/ML model integration (Python APIs, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or OpenAI APIs). - Experience with cloud platforms. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices. - Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building AI-powered applications.,
