PHARMORIS™ is the Generics Optimisation Platform funded by Innovate UK and built by VIONIX Pharma Ltd (a VARUNÉ Group company). It combines AI prioritisation, MHRA regulatory dossier automation, and NHS deployment modelling to reduce medicine costs and approval times. Role Objectives Lead architecture & development of the PHARMORIS™ stack (FastAPI / PostgreSQL / React / Docker). Ensure audit-ready code with traceable commits and test coverage > 80 %. Mentor and manage a 3-person team (Dinesh – Backend, Haneet – Automation, Affan – Frontend). Translate technical work into compliance evidence for Innovate UK (Clause 9 & 13 reporting). Deliver monthly releases and documentation aligned to MHRA and GxP standards. Core Responsibilities Own system design and integration across backend and frontend modules. Build production-grade APIs and data pipelines for AI prioritisation and regulatory document generation. Enforce secure coding standards (GDPR, ISO 27001, MHRA data integrity). Implement end-to-end testing and CI/CD pipelines with rollback and drift detection. Produce developer documentation, architecture diagrams, and evidence for quarterly grant claims. Conduct weekly code reviews and performance reports for project lead. Minimum Requirements 5 + years hands-on software engineering experience (backend or full-stack). Deep Python expertise (FastAPI / Flask / Django) + PostgreSQL query optimisation. Proven record building and deploying Dockerised apps with CI/CD (ideally GitHub Actions). Solid JavaScript fundamentals with React / Next.js. Strong understanding of testing frameworks (PyTest, Jest, Playwright). Experience in regulated domains (pharma, health data, fintech, or GovTech) where audit trails and traceability matter. English fluency and ability to work UK–India hours (10 AM – 6 PM IST).
