Job Description

As a software engineer at Google, you will be developing the next-generation technologies that revolutionize how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and each other. You will work on projects critical to Google's needs, with the opportunity to switch teams and projects as the business grows. Your role will involve driving, building, and supporting product evolution, regulatory compliance, resource efficiencies, and cross-team collaborations. Additionally, you will have the chance to mentor junior engineers and enhance your expertise in Google technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and separately develop and deliver large Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and mentor team members. - Manage project execution and establish governance within critical programs. - Communicate with cross-functional teams and executive leadership regarding execution updates, resource requirements, issues, risks, and priorities. - Work closely with engineers, product managers, and other program managers to prepare project plans, identify and manage cross-project dependencies, ambiguities, and risks. - Build collaboration and partnerships with external teams crucial for achieving annual OKRs and delivering the product roadmap. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages. - 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture. - 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture. Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field. - 5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms. - 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role. - Experience developing accessible technologies.,
