As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Salesforce Marketing Cloud at Mastercard, you will play a crucial role in migrating multiple marketing automation platforms to a single Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) platform. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining SFMC campaigns, journeys, data extensions, automations, and integrations to support the transition and enable advanced marketing capabilities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate SFMC with other systems and tools, understand business requirements, and deliver scalable software solutions. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing. **Key Responsibilities:** - Implement and support the migration to a single enterprise B2B Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. - Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce Marketing Cloud campaigns, journeys, data extensions, automations, and integrations. - Develop custom Salesforce solutions including Lightning components, Apex code, etc. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Salesforce Marketing Cloud for performance and scalability. - Collaborate with various teams to integrate SFMC with other systems and tools. - Translate business requirements into efficient software solutions. - Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing within the team. **Qualifications Required:** - Proven experience in developing and implementing email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. - Proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, and Automation Studio. - Strong skills in Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs. - Understanding of web technologies, modern frameworks, and integration patterns. - Experience in designing scalable, efficient, and reliable Salesforce applications. - Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality, maintainable code. - Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications preferred. - Knowledge of data governance, security best practices, compliance considerations, and agile development practices. - Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
