Senior Software Engineer (PHP)

As a Senior Software Engineer at Adfluencehub, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using LAMP stack technologies. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining consumer-facing web applications using LAMP stack technologies. - Architecting and optimizing Elasticsearch-based indexing and querying systems. - Building and managing RESTful APIs for front-end applications. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams for effective project execution. - Ensuring system security through best practices. - Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code. - Participating in code reviews, contributing to architectural decisions, and mentoring junior developers. - Working with version control systems for source code management. - Maintaining and optimizing MySQL and MongoDB schemas, queries, and performance. - Contributing to deployment processes and staying updated with emerging technologies. Key Skills & Requirements: - 4+ years of backend development experience with strong PHP expertise. - Proficiency in MVC frameworks like Laravel and MySQL database design. - Hands-on experience with MongoDB and Elasticsearch. - Experience in REST API creation and integration. - Familiarity with JavaScript, jQuery, and nginx. - Proficient in using Git or similar version control systems. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. - Strong foundational knowledge of software development principles, algorithms, and data structures. Good to Have: - Exposure to AWS, Akamai, or other cloud/CDN services. - Understanding of DevOps tools and CI/CD processes. - Exposure to AI/ML implementation along with Python. - Knowledge of application security best practices.
