Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) . In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for implementing, customizing, and supporting OTM solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and developers to design, configure, and deploy OTM applications that precisely meet our business requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical proficiency in OTM, excellent integration skills, and robust problem-solving abilities. Key Responsibilities: Implementation & Configuration: Design, configure, and deploy OTM solutions based on complex business requirements. Customize OTM workflows, screens, business rules, and reports to enhance functionality. Set up and optimize transportation planning, execution, freight payment, and fleet management modules. Integration & Development: Develop and manage integrations between OTM and other critical enterprise systems (ERP, WMS, TMS, EDI, etc.) utilizing web services, APIs, and middleware. Leverage Java, XML, XSLT, SQL, and PL/SQL for efficient data mapping and transformations. Proactively troubleshoot and optimize integration processes to ensure seamless data flow. Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Analyze and swiftly resolve complex technical issues related to OTM configurations, performance, and integrations. Provide comprehensive post-implementation support, including bug fixes and system enhancements. Collaboration & Documentation: Collaborate effectively with functional consultants to translate intricate business needs into tangible technical solutions. Create detailed technical design documents, comprehensive test scripts, and intuitive user guides. Conduct engaging training sessions for end-users and support teams to ensure successful adoption. Upgrades & Optimization: Assist in OTM upgrades, patch management, and system optimizations to maintain peak performance. Recommend and implement best practices for system performance and scalability. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field. Experience: 10+ years of hands-on OTM implementation experience. Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) . Proficiency in Java and SQL , with the ability to independently write complex code. Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware, SOAP/REST APIs, and EDI integrations . Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) & OTM Cloud is a plus. Functional Knowledge: Deep understanding of logistics, transportation management, and end-to-end supply chain processes. Familiarity with order management, shipment tracking, and freight settlement processes. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and advanced problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and client-facing skills, capable of interacting effectively with diverse stakeholders. Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and as a collaborative team member. Preferred Qualifications: Oracle OTM Certification. Work Environment: This role may require occasional travel to client sites. Remote or hybrid work options may be available depending on business needs.
