Job Description

Role Overview: As a software engineer at Google, you will be developing next-generation technologies that impact billions of users worldwide. Your role will involve working on critical projects that cater to Google's ever-evolving needs. You will have the opportunity to switch between teams and projects, showcasing your versatility and leadership qualities. Key Responsibilities: - Write and test product or system development code. - Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices are followed. - Triage product or system issues, debug, track, and resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and their impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality. - Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages. - 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture. - 3 years of experience with iOS application development. - Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field (preferred). - 5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms (preferred). - 3 years of experience with performance, large scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging (preferred). - 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role (preferred). - Experience developing accessible technologies.
