Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java development with hands-on experience in building scalable microservices and RESTful applications.

Key Requirements

Technical Skills (Mandatory)

Java 8+: Proficiency in modern Java features including Lambda expressions, Streams API, Optional, and functional programming concepts.

6+ Years Experience: Demonstrated experience in enterprise Java development.

RESTful Web Services: Design and development of REST APIs, understanding of HTTP protocols, status codes, and API best practices.

Spring Boot: Extensive experience building applications using Spring Boot framework, auto-configuration, and starter dependencies.

Microservices Architecture: Hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices-based applications.

SQL: Strong database skills including complex queries, joins, indexing, and performance optimization

-Spring Batch: Experience with batch processing frameworks for large-scale data processing, good to have.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop high-quality, scalable Java applications using Spring Boot

- Build and maintain RESTful web services and microservices architecture

- Write efficient SQL queries and optimize database performance

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions

- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production environments

- Stay updated with latest Java technologies and industry best practices

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- 6+ years of professional Java development experience

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles

- Experience with version control systems (Git)

- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Experience

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

- Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)

- Understanding of DevOps practices
