Senior Software Engineer

This role involves designing, developing, and delivering exceptional software solutions while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create high-performing and scalable applications.

Please note that work from the EPAM office 3 days per week is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality software solutions using Java and Angular
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code aligned with best practices
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems effectively
• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers
• Stay informed on emerging software development trends and technologies
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability
• Implement RESTful web services and follow Microservices architecture principles

Requirements

• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the software development industry
• Proficiency in Java 8 or above, Angular, and JavaScript
• Expertise in Spring and Hibernate frameworks
• Skills in unit testing and creating quality-assured software
• Strong knowledge of OO Design, design patterns, and RESTful web services
• Experience with database technologies, preferably SQLServer
• Proven background in Microservices architecture

Nice to have

• Familiarity with HTML5 and CSS
