Senior Software Engineer (JAVA)

The successful candidate will join the IntelliDealer Engineering team at E-Emphasys Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer supporting efforts to deliver modern solutions to the dealer base. As part of the technology refresh team, you will collaborate with dedicated developers to analyze existing solutions and implement designs that efficiently address challenges faced by the dealer community. You will need to be a full stack engineer proficient in analyzing, comprehending, and enhancing various software languages to provide effective, performant, and maintainable solutions. Responsibilities include reviewing, analyzing, and delivering software solutions that effectively address customer challenges, conducting testing to minimize defects, debugging code, contributing to the architecture of IntelliDealer, automating tasks, collaborating with internal teams for product enhancements, working with the documentation team, participating in the on-call schedule, and mentoring less experienced engineers. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent, with at least 5 years of programming experience. Experience in Agile software development, analysis, design, and formal software testing methods is essential. Preferred skills involve proficiency in multiple programming languages with expertise in at least one language such as Java, Spring, or ReactJS. Troubleshooting technical issues, effective communication, teamwork, time management, meeting deadlines, and database experience (Postgres, DB2) are advantageous.
