Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Senior Software Engineer in Test

to join our team and ensure the delivery of robust, high-quality software.

You will be responsible for enhancing testing strategies, collaborating across teams, and driving quality assurance processes in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Perform functional testing to validate software quality and address potential issues
Conduct regression testing to verify system reliability during product updates
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and testers to identify and resolve problems
Analyze and leverage QA metrics to monitor testing progress and ensure efficiency
Design and implement effective test cases to maintain thorough and consistent coverage
Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies like planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Understand system architecture to provide valuable suggestions for improvements
Track and communicate testing results and defects while prioritizing resolution efforts
Utilize your proficiency in Postman API to perform API testing and validate connections effectively

Requirements

6-9 years of experience in software testing with a strong foundation in functional and manual testing practices
Expertise in Postman API, including 3-4 years of practical experience
Proficiency in regression testing techniques to maintain system stability and reliability
Understanding of QA strategies to ensure comprehensive test coverage
Familiarity with QA metrics and reporting systems for tracking progress and performance
Background in Agile/Scrum frameworks with the capability to adapt to iterative workflows
Strong time management and prioritization skills for consistently meeting deadlines
Collaborative and detail-oriented mindset to work effectively with team members

Nice to have

Basic SQL skills to query and validate database information
Familiarity with tools like Splunk and Jira
