Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices using
Golang
and
Ruby
(primarily Ruby on Rails).
Develop and manage containerized applications using
Docker
and
Kubernetes
.
Work closely with DevOps to improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features.
Monitor and debug production issues; proactively identify and fix bugs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

3+ years
of experience in backend development using
Golang
and
Ruby
.
Solid experience with
Kubernetes
, container orchestration, and cloud-native applications.
Experience with
Docker
,
Helm
, and deploying microservices to production.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, gRPC, and distributed systems architecture.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
Good understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control (Git), testing, and documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms like
AWS
,
GCP
, or
Azure
.
Familiarity with service meshes (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
Exposure to observability tools like
Prometheus
,
Grafana
, or
ELK stack
.
Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment
