Senior Software Engineer - FullStack

As a Full-Stack Engineer at Abnormal Security, you will play a crucial role in developing a comprehensive tool to understand our customers" employees, enabling security professionals to assess risks and threats effectively. You will collaborate with our world-class engineers to enhance our Knowledge Base team and work closely with both internal and external customers. This position requires a fine balance between speed and quality in your work. Your responsibilities will include owning and developing data-rich user interfaces and APIs that showcase Abnormal's knowledge about normal and abnormal user patterns. You will also create a user-friendly interface for customers and internal agents to debug specific attacks and establish a framework for adding new data sources efficiently. Constant collaboration with customers to gather feedback and enhance our systems will be a key aspect of your role. In this full-stack role, you can expect to work on tasks ranging from coding the UI for the Knowledge Base to refining the underlying data model. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in full-stack web development with expertise in backend languages like Python/Django or Golang, along with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, React, or similar frameworks. Additionally, you should have 2+ years of production support experience for enterprise-class customers and a year of system design experience. Experience in owning testing and development of software solutions, agile methodologies like scrum and kanban, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams spread across different time zones is essential for this role. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field is required. Nice-to-have skills include experience with Airflow, Celery, AWS, Azure, Postgres, and API platform development.
