Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer Full Stack at Autodesk Fusion Operations team, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative solutions for a device-independent experience in manufacturing execution systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Planning production schedules to enhance job scheduling flexibility - Tracking inventory, monitoring workers, and overseeing machines to optimize production efficiency - Managing product quality through production traceability to align with industry standards - Leading the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of the application - Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to align on project goals and timelines - Developing and maintaining a real-time and business-critical software with high performance and availability requirements - Performing code reviews, evaluating implementations, and providing feedback for tool improvements - Utilizing debugging techniques to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently - Developing and maintaining automated tests to increase overall code coverage - Leveraging cloud technologies, including AWS services such as S3, SQS, and RDS for scalable solutions - Acting as a Scrum Master, facilitating agile ceremonies and ensuring team adherence to agile principles - Mentoring and guiding junior engineers to foster their professional growth - Participating in an on-call rotation to support production systems Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field - 6+ years of industry experience in building robust, performant, and maintainable commercial applications - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles - Proficiency in Java, frontend development, MVC, and RESTful web services - Solid experience with MySQL databases, cloud platforms (especially AWS), and Docker - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum framework - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Preferred Qualifications: - Master's in Computer Science - Experience with Java frameworks (Play, Spring), frontend frameworks (Vue.js, React), Elasticsearch, and test automation tools - Familiarity with build and CI/CD tools and event-driven architecture principles - Understanding of CAD concepts related to Inventor, AutoCAD, Factory Design Utilities About Autodesk: Autodesk is a company where amazing things are created every day, from buildings to cars and factories to movies.
