Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack Java)

Autodesk is seeking a Senior Software Engineer Full Stack to join the Fusion Operations team, where you will be responsible for delivering innovative solutions to provide a device-independent experience. As a part of the Fusion Operations team, you will work on a manufacturing execution system (MES) that enables real-time data for production management. Your role will involve planning production schedules, optimizing efficiency, managing product quality, leading application design and implementation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align on project goals and timelines. Key Responsibilities: - Plan production schedules to enhance job scheduling flexibility - Track inventory, monitor workers, and oversee machines to optimize production efficiency - Manage product quality through production traceability to meet industry standards - Lead the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of the application - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align on project goals and timelines - Develop and maintain real-time and business-critical software with high performance and availability requirements - Perform code reviews, evaluate implementations, and provide feedback for tool improvements - Utilize debugging techniques to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently - Develop and maintain automated tests to increase overall code coverage - Leverage cloud technologies, including AWS services such as S3, SQS, and RDS for scalable solutions - Act as a Scrum Master, facilitating agile ceremonies and ensuring adherence to agile principles - Mentor and guide junior engineers to foster professional growth - Participate in on-call rotation to support production systems Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field - 6+ years of industry experience building robust commercial applications - Proficiency in Java, JavaScript/HTML/CSS, and MySQL databases - Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and Docker - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum framework - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Preferred Qualifications: - Master's in Computer Science - Experience with Java frameworks such as Play or Spring, and frontend frameworks like Vue.js or React - Knowledge of Elasticsearch, test automation tools, and CI/CD tools - Understanding of event-driven architecture principles and CAD concepts - Experience working with build tools like Ant, Maven, Gradle - Previous experience as a Scrum Master and driving teams effectively Join Autodesk to be a part of a culture that values diversity, belonging, and innovation.
