Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable and secure web services using C# , .NET Framework , and .NET Core . Work on legacy systems (Vivace, Hurtigruten), ensuring stable performance and timely maintenance. Develop and deploy satellite applications supporting environmental labs across Europe. Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and other developers to define and implement technical specifications . Manage synchronous/asynchronous communication using message queues (eESB). Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate authentication protocols like OAuth2 and OIDC. Develop, optimize, and maintain backend database solutions using MS SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures). Participate in unit/UI testing , support 2nd and 3rd-level issue resolution, and assist with Agile ceremonies. Technical Skills Required: Proficiency in C# , .NET Core , ASP.NET , MVC , Web API Solid understanding of multi-tier , SOA , and REST API architecture Strong grasp of OAuth2, OIDC , and secure communication protocols Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server , T-SQL , and database triggers Exposure to Azure , TFS , AngularJS , and message queues (eESB) Familiarity with unit/UI testing frameworks : MSTest, NUnit, Jasmine, MOQ, Karma Experience working in an Agile (SCRUM) environment Understanding and application of modern SDLC methodologies Soft Skills & Personal Attributes: Strong communication and interpersonal skills , especially for cross-cultural collaboration Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities Highly organized , proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and deliver high-quality work Experience working in distributed teams with international stakeholders Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , MCA , or a related technical field Minimum 45 years of relevant software development experience Preferred experience with environmental lab or LIMS applications is a plus
