Senior Software Engineer

As a Backend Developer at our company, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: - Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js. - Design and implement database schemas and queries using SQL and/or NoSQL databases. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. - Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability. - Participate in code reviews, ensuring coding standards and best practices are followed. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools. The qualifications required for this role include: - Strong proficiency in Node.js backend development. - Excellent understanding of database technologies: SQL and/or NoSQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). - Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment. - Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with front-end services. - Experience with version control systems such as Git. Additionally, preferred qualifications for this position are: - Experience with cloud platforms or containerization (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. - Knowledge of front-end technologies is an added advantage.
