Senior Software Engineer (DevOps)

Role Overview: As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Zapcom, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Your role will involve collaboration between development and operations teams, focusing on implementing scalable and secure cloud provisioning in a fast-paced environment. You will also be leveraging AI productivity tools to improve productivity and streamline software delivery processes. Key Responsibilities: - Implement Infrastructure as Code by automating provisioning of resources in the cloud while following security guidelines. - Participate in sprint planning, assess tasks, and ensure timely completion with proper acceptance criteria. - Collaborate with team members and development teams to automate end-to-end infrastructure. - Utilize automation tools to build native cloud resources, Kubernetes resources, and networking resources in a repeatable manner. - Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and provide technical guidance to team members. - Advocate for DevOps best practices, promote a culture of automation and efficiency. - Utilize AI productivity tools to enhance quality and speed up development. - Optimize software delivery processes to enable rapid and reliable releases. Qualifications: - Minimum of 4+ years of IT experience in building cloud infrastructure using Terraform or cloud-native templates. - Experience in developing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on platforms such as Azure or AWS. - Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. - Automation experience in creating VPC, load balancers, WAF, subnets, and route tables using Terraform. - Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance through proactive monitoring and optimization. - Familiarity with observability tools such as Cloud Watch, Azure Insights, Datadog, etc. - Customer-focused, goal-oriented, and passionate for success. - Exposure to AI productivity tools like Co-Pilot, Winsur, etc. - Implemented CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure ADO, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc. - Experience in healthcare ecosystems is a plus. - Experience in migrating on-prem applications to the cloud is advantageous. Note: Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, and Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).,
