Senior Software Engineer

Role Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer at Carelon Global Solutions India, you will be responsible for specializing in the Pega field and leveraging your hands-on experience on the Pega platform. You are expected to work independently, drive project deliverables as per defined business requirements, and take active ownership until closure. Key Responsibilities: - Proficiency in Pega platform features such as PRPC, Case Management, Decision Management, and Integration - Implementation of best practices in PEGA architecture, design, and coding - Familiarity with Activities, Data Pages, Job Schedulers, Queue processors, and File Listeners - Strong command in Oracle SQL - Experience in AWS/Azure is a plus - Planning, designing, leading, and executing technical solutions and enhancements - Exposure to Java technologies like Spring Boot, WebServices, and Microservices (preferred but not mandatory) - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills - Proven track record of successful customer engagement and project delivery - Engaging with onshore partners and stakeholders - Capability to mentor and coach developers - Strong conceptual and analytical skills for analyzing complex business and technical requirements - Designing innovative and practical solutions aligned with business strategies - Identifying, defining, and implementing reusable assets and standards - Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements - Sound knowledge of application architectural concepts and a strategic mindset towards innovation and process improvement - Collaborating with the technical team to provide solutions for business challenges - Preference for candidates with healthcare experience or knowledge Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in any Engineering stream (Preferably CSE, IT, ECE) - MCA qualification Additional Company Details: Elevance Health is a prominent health company in America dedicated to enhancing lives and communities while simplifying healthcare.
