Senior Software Engineer

As an experienced WordPress Developer at Avya Technology, you will be responsible for: - Creating plugins/widgets conforming to WordPress coding standards with HOOKS concepts. - Building custom WordPress plugins and customizing third-party plugins like WooCommerce, Event plugins, etc. - Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of E-Commerce architecture and systems. - Working with open-source CMS and frameworks like WordPress with proficiency in code versioning tools like Git/SVN. - Optimizing software and databases for enhanced performance and functionality. Your skills and abilities should include: - Strong proficiency in PHP and extensive experience in working with WordPress at a PHP code level. - Expertise in customizing themes & plugins and handling MySQL databases effectively. - Familiarity with interacting with RESTful APIs and formats such as JSON, XML. - Experience with Bitbucket and desirable experience with React.js and Node.js. - Excellent communication and leadership skills.
