As a Software Engineer at 66degrees, you will be a key player in the team, responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and maintaining innovative software solutions that redefine the boundaries of technological possibilities. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and testing software applications using Java, collaborating with diverse teams to ensure the smooth implementation of 66degrees solutions, contributing to all stages of the software development lifecycle, writing clean and well-documented code, debugging software issues, and working across time zones when necessary to cater to client requirements and collaborating with global teams. To excel in this role, you should possess 5+ years of experience in developing cloud-native applications, expertise in Java back-end development, proficiency in Spring Boot and Spring Rest Services, experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, familiarity with Couchbase, MongoDB, or similar databases, solid background in monolith applications and application migrations, knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes, experience in unit testing and automated testing, excellent communication skills, willingness to work in a team-oriented environment, familiarity with React or NodeJS with Typescript, expertise in establishing CI/CD pipelines for software delivery acceleration, a background in professional services/consulting, and experience with Google Cloud Platform products and services is advantageous.
