Senior Software Developer (ML/GenAI Engineer)

About the Role:

Grade Level (for internal use):

• Design, develop, and deploy NLP models for structured text generation, entity recognition, and transformation tasks.
• Train and fine-tune models using spaCy, Prodigy or similar tools.
• Knowledge about transfomers, and experience in prompt engineering using Open AI.
• Experience using other LLMs is a plus.
• Build pipelines to convert unstructured text data into structured formats for downstream applications.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams to integrate models into production systems.
• Evaluate model performance, accuracy and continuously improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in GenAI, LLMs, and NLP technologies.
• Experience in model development lifecycle and MLOps.
• Experience with Jupyter Notebooks, and Notebook orchestration tools.
• Experience with AWS -- Sagemaker, S3, IAM, Lambda and containers.

• 5+ years of experience in Python programming and machine learning.
• Experience with tensorflow, pytorch is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI concepts and practical applications.
• Experience with spaCy and Prodigy for NLP model training and annotation.
• Proficiency in using OpenAI APIs for text transformation, generation.
• Solid grasp of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.
  Familiarity with REST APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Background in linguistics or computational linguistics is a bonus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
