Senior Software Developer - Flask-Python-Mongo DB

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Python and Flask.
• Develop data models, perform CRUD operations, and manage collections in MongoDB.
• Write clean, reusable, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Integrate third-party APIs and data sources as needed.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and scalability.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices for backend services.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed modules.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Skills Required:

• Strong hands-on experience with Python and the Flask framework for developing backend services and APIs.
• Proficiency in working with MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, aggregation pipelines, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Django framework is a plus, especially for projects requiring rapid development and built-in admin features.
• Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs, ensuring secure and efficient data communication.
• Solid understanding of backend authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth2, JWT).
• Ability to integrate third-party APIs and external data sources effectively.
• Knowledge of software design patterns, modular code structuring, and clean coding principles.
• Experience in writing unit tests and performing code reviews to maintain code quality.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and basic Linux server operations.
