Senior Simulation Engineer - Thermal (Product Development)

Role Overview: As a Senior Simulation Engineer specializing in Thermal Management at ENNOVI, your primary responsibility will be to provide simulation support for the Energy product line, focusing on thermal management of the CCA and battery packs. You will conduct detailed thermal simulations and analyses using state-of-the-art software tools to ensure optimal product functionality and reliability. Your role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, laboratories, external customers, and suppliers to enhance thermal management enhancements and develop new technology simulations related to ENNOVI products. Key Responsibilities: - Provide simulation support for the Energy product line, focusing on thermal management of the CCA and battery packs - Conduct detailed thermal simulations and analyses using software tools - Provide insights and recommendations for thermal management enhancements - Support global product development team to ensure first-time right during the design phase - Perform model correlation and validation with empirical data - Refine existing modeling methodology for prediction accuracy enhancement - Establish new modeling approaches to address challenging designs in the EV battery management system - Develop new technology simulations related to ENNOVI products - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, laboratories, external customers, and suppliers on material characterization and test vehicles Qualifications Required: - ME/MS degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Thermal Management - 10+ years of hands-on thermal management engineering experience related to EV battery pack product & Energy system, with experience in Electro-Thermal analysis - Experience in performing thermal analysis on flexible PCB - Solid knowledge in Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, and CFD Simulation under steady state and transient conditions - Experience with CAE packages such as ANSYS Fluent, Icepak, Workbench - Knowledge of thermal management techniques such as Finite Volume Analysis, Finite Element Analysis, and Computational Fluid Dynamics - Strong communication skills to convey complex engineering and physics concepts to a wide-ranging audience through written and verbal means (Note: Additional details about the company were not included in the provided job description),
