About The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with technical experience to join the Centre for Integrative Semiconductor Materials (CISM) – Swansea University’s flagship new £55M facility for advanced semiconductor research and development.The Semiconductor Process Technician will support the state-of-the-art facilities at CISM and will play a key role in running semiconductor process and characterisation equipment for research and commercial projects. The primary function will be to operate semiconductor processing equipment, optimising recipes, helping to maintain general cleanroom operations and protocols, and supporting other users as part of a growing process support team.The role includes an interesting variation of tasks and responsibilities as outlined in the job descriptions and will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to work within a growing innovative sector in South Wales.Equality, Diversity & InclusionThe University is committed to supporting and promoting equality and diversity in all its practices and activities.
