Senior SDET Engineer

As a senior Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst at our company, your role involves establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your main objective will be to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions and identify necessary system enhancements - Resolve high impact problems/projects through evaluation of complex business processes - Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure application design aligns with the overall architecture blueprint - Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow to develop coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards - Develop comprehensive knowledge of how different business areas integrate to achieve goals - Conduct in-depth analysis to define issues and develop innovative solutions - Serve as an advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts - Assess risk in business decisions and drive compliance with regulations and policies **Qualifications:** - 13-17 years of experience in Apps Development or systems analysis - Expertise in Java, CI/CD, SQL, and Unix - Extensive experience in system analysis and programming - Experience in managing successful projects - Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development - Ability to adjust priorities quickly - Demonstrated leadership and project management skills - Strong experience in test automation and knowledge of open source testing tools - Expertise in Selenium, Cucumber, and implementing deployment pipelines - Experience in containerizing test packs - Ability to review existing frameworks and suggest improvements - Previous work experience in Capital Markets or Trading domain lifecycle - Strong knowledge of testing processes in Agile and Waterfall SDLC - Excellent understanding of Software Quality Assurance methodologies - Expertise in test cycles, test tools, and testing methodologies - Good at requirement analysis and test scenario derivation - Experience using Jira - Good communication skills - Education: Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience, Masters degree preferred This job description provides an overview of your responsibilities and qualifications.
