About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant with 15+ years of relevant

experience and deep expertise in Controlling (CO) under SAP S/4HANA 2023. This

position will support a high-impact transformation program for a leading commodity

trading company, with a focus on profit center restructuring, material ledger, segment

reporting, and advanced costing.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the CO design and delivery in an SAP S/4HANA 2023 environment.

2. Define and implement Profit Center Accounting in alignment with legal,

management, and reporting dimensions.

3. Configure and support Material Ledger (multi-currency, actual costing) and Cost

Object Controlling.

4. Design costing flows including Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Project

Systems, and settlement profiles.

5. Define reporting structures to meet IFRS 8 / ASC 280 standards for segment

reporting and P&L visibility.

6. Integrate controlling flows with Logistics, Procurement, Sales, and Treasury

modules.

7. Manage the configuration of Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and work with Fiori

apps for planning and analytics.

8. Participate in data migration, testing, cutover, and hypercare support.

9. Support finance leadership, traders, and FP&A in modeling accurate and

auditable cost and profitability structures.

Required Skills & Experience:

1. 10+ years of experience in SAP FICO, including at least 7 years in CO.

2. Minimum 2 end-to-end implementations in SAP S/4HANA (preferably 2021 or

later).

3. In-depth experience with:

4. Profit Center Accounting (PCA)

5. Material Ledger (ML) with actual costing

6. Cost Object Controlling & Settlements

7. Internal Orders / Cost Centers

8. Account-based COPA

9. Universal Journal (ACDOCA) architecture

10. Derivation rules

11. Working knowledge of SAP TRM / CTRM integration.

12. Sound understanding of segment reporting, legal consolidation, and budgeting

structures.

13. Prior experience in industries such as commodity trading, manufacturing, or

FMCG.

14. Exposure to Group Reporting Good to Have

15. SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or Integration to analytics applications such as

power BI

16. Experience in designing overhead structures, variance analysis, and multi-level

cost roll-ups.

17. Understanding of event-based cost posting and Fiori-based CO reporting tools.
