Senior SAP FICO Consultant

Role Overview: You are a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant who will be joining the implementation team for a 6-month duration in Ahmedabad. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze and understand the current business processes, identify gaps, and translate them into scalable SAP solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze and understand AS-IS business processes and map them against standard SAP FICO functionalities - Identify gaps between business requirements and SAP standard capabilities and propose appropriate solutions - Prepare Business Process Procedures (BPP) and coordinate sign-offs with business and module leads - Configure SAP FICO modules as per the finalized design and review the configuration documents - Prepare and validate Functional Specifications (FS) for custom developments and enhancements - Finalize and coordinate Migration Objects for data migration with relevant stakeholders - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define Interface Functional Specifications and work with partner consultants to implement integrations - Support and document Unit Testing, including test case preparation and execution - Guide and support data migration, including methodology, mapping rules, technical validations, and completeness checks - Conduct and participate in Integration Testing across SAP modules - Prepare and deliver Key User Training sessions and create detailed Training Manuals - Create User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts and provide UAT support to ensure business readiness - Actively support and participate in Cutover activities to ensure a smooth transition to the new system Qualifications Required: - 6-8 years of hands-on experience as an SAP FICO Consultant - Strong functional knowledge in FI (GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting) and CO (Cost Center, Internal Orders, Profit Center, COPA) - Proven experience in at least 1-2 end-to-end SAP implementations - Expertise in preparing FS, BPP, UAT scripts, and training materials - Good understanding of data migration methodology and tools - Familiarity with integration points between SAP FICO and other modules (MM, SD, etc.) - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with business users and technical teams - SAP Certification (preferred but not mandatory) Additional Details: - Experience with S/4HANA environments - Knowledge of the SAP Activate methodology,
