As a Senior Sales Officer for agricultural products in the Shivpuri region, you will play a crucial role in managing and growing sales operations. Your responsibilities will include: - Handling sales operations in the Shivpuri region and nearby areas effectively. - Developing and nurturing strong relationships with dealers, distributors, retailers, and farmers. - Appointing and providing necessary training to Field Officers (FOs) and Market Development Officers (MDOs). - Achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets and revenue goals. - Planning and executing product demonstrations, field trials, and awareness programs. - Gathering market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, and farmer needs. - Monitoring and supporting secondary sales, stock levels, and ensuring timely billing/invoicing. - Preparing sales reports, visit reports, and actively participating in regular review meetings. - Coordinating with logistics, accounts, and marketing teams for seamless execution. - Professionally addressing customer complaints or feedback. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Agriculture (B.Sc. Agri) or any science graduate with sales experience in the agri-sector. - Post-graduation in Agri Business Management (preferred but not mandatory). - Proven 3+ years of field sales experience in agri-inputs or rural/agriculture-based industries. - Strong network of dealers and a good understanding of the Shivpuri agriculture market. - Ability to lead a small sales team and manage market-level execution. - Basic computer skills including MS Office and CRM apps. - Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
