About us:

Kondaas Automation Private Limited is a solar energy solutions company that helps homes and businesses switch to clean, affordable rooftop solar power. We’re growing our field sales team and looking for driven sales professionals to lead solar sales in their local territory.

About the role

As an Senior sales executive, you will own solar rooftop sales in your assigned territory, from the first customer meeting to the confirmed order. You’ll meet customers, conduct site surveys, explain the savings and subsidy benefits of solar, and convert interested prospects into happy customers.

This is a target-driven field role for people who enjoy meeting customers every day and are motivated by clear, measurable goals.

Key responsibilities

Achieve a minimum of 1 confirmed solar order per working day

Conduct 4–5 customer site surveys per day and record roof, shading and electrical details

Generate at least 2 qualified customer references per day

Follow up consistently with all leads, surveyed customers and pending prospects

Explain solar system options, savings, payback, government subsidy and financing clearly to customers

Negotiate and close orders within company pricing guidelines

Update all customer interactions, surveys and order progress in the company CRM daily

Plan daily field routes and build a strong local network in your territory

Coordinate with the technical, installation, documentation and finance teams for smooth order execution

Track competitor activity and identify new market opportunities in your area

Stay in touch with customers through installation to ensure satisfaction and referrals

What we’re looking for

Graduate in any discipline (an Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical background is a plus)

4+ years of field sales experience, preferably in solar, consumer durables, home appliances or technical products

Strong communication and customer-handling skills

Confidence in negotiation and closing sales

Fluency in Tamil; working knowledge of English

Comfortable using a smartphone, WhatsApp and CRM tools

Valid two-wheeler licence and willingness to travel daily within the territory

Self-motivated, target-oriented and accountable for results

Prior solar experience is not mandatory. Full product and sales training will be provided.

Freshers are also welcomed!!!
