Senior Revenue Accountant

Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Revenue Accounting professional with strong expertise in Global Revenue Accounting and ASC 606. This role will be supporting finance operations. The candidate will be responsible for revenue recognition, accounting compliance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The role requires strong accounting fundamentals, excellent communication skills, and flexibility to work across different shifts when required.

Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end global revenue accounting activities in compliance with ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) standards.
• Review and analyze customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue treatment.
• Perform revenue recognition, deferrals, accruals, and month-end close activities.
• Ensure accurate accounting entries and timely financial reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Legal, Operations, and FP&A for revenue-related matters.
• Support audits (internal and external) by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Assist in process improvements and standardization of revenue accounting procedures.
• Communicate effectively with global stakeholders across regions and time zones.

Requirements:

• 57 years of overall experience in Finance & Accounting.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Global Revenue Accounting with ASC 606 (mandatory).
• Strong accounting background with experience in financial reporting and close processes.
• Exposure to global finance operations and multi-entity environments is a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tight timelines.
• Flexibility to work in different shifts when required (no additional shift allowance; rare occurrence).
