Position Overview:

Assistant Professor in Obstetrics & Gynecology

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MS) teaching as per NMC norms.
• Supervise and guide clinical work, case discussions, and ward rounds.
• Perform and oversee procedures in obstetrics and gynecology, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
• Participate in departmental academic activities, seminars, CME programs, and research projects.
• Train and mentor junior faculty, residents, and students.
• Contribute to departmental administration, curriculum development, and institutional committees.
• Ensure high standards of patient safety, ethics, and professional conduct.
  

Qualifications & Eligibility (As per NMC Guidelines)

Essential:

• MBBS degree and MD/MS /DNB(Obstetrics & Gynecology) from a recognized institution.
• Registration with the Medical Council of India / National Medical Commission (NMC) & State Medical Council.
  

Experience:

• As per the latest NMC norms for the post of Assistant Professor in Obstetrics & Gynecology (minimum One year of experience as Senior Resident ).
  

Desirable:

• Teaching experience in a recognized medical institution.
• Research publications in indexed journals.
• Excellent clinical, teaching, and communication skills.
