Senior Resident / Attending Consultant - Pediatrics

As a Pediatrician, your role involves conducting thorough medical evaluations of pediatric patients which includes physical examinations, medical histories, and ordering diagnostic tests. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating common pediatric conditions such as respiratory infections, gastrointestinal disorders, allergic reactions, and growth and development issues. Key Responsibilities: - Managing and monitoring pediatric patients admitted to the hospital, providing appropriate medical interventions and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams - Prescribing and administering medications, vaccinations, and other pediatric treatments following established protocols and guidelines - Performing procedures like venipuncture, lumbar punctures, and wound suturing to ensure patient comfort and safety - Attending to pediatric emergencies, providing resuscitation, stabilization, and critical care interventions when necessary - Collaborating with attending physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans - Educating patients and their families on pediatric health issues, preventive care, and treatment options to ensure their understanding and compliance - Supervising and mentoring junior medical staff, including residents and medical students, providing guidance and support in their clinical training - Engaging in continuous medical education to stay updated with advancements in pediatric medicine, research, and best practices Qualifications Required: - Master's degree in Medicine (Preferred) Please note that this position is full-time and suitable for freshers. The work schedule includes evening shifts, fixed shifts, and rotational shifts. The work location is in person, and the expected start date is 02/06/2025.
