Senior Reservations Coordinator

As a Reservations Agent at Renaissance Goa Hotel, your primary responsibility is to process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail. You will be required to identify guest reservation needs, determine the appropriate room type, and verify the availability of room type and rate. It is essential to explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers, accommodate and document special requests, and answer questions about property facilities/services and room accommodations. Your role will involve following sales techniques to maximize revenue and communicating information regarding designated VIP reservations. Additionally, you will input and access data in the reservation system and respond to any challenges found for accommodating rooming requests by communicating with the appropriate individual or department. Key Responsibilities: - Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations - Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room type - Verify availability of room type and rate - Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies - Accommodate and document special requests - Answer questions about property facilities/services and room accommodations - Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue - Communicate information regarding VIP reservations - Input and access data in reservation system - Oversee accuracy of room blocks and reservations - Input group rooming lists and maintain organized files - Set-up proper billing accounts according to Accounting policies Qualifications Required: - High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent - At least 1 year of related work experience - No supervisory experience required - No specific license or certification needed At Renaissance Hotels, we believe in providing our guests with an authentic experience of the neighborhoods they visit.
