Cognitive Clinical Management

Clinical Non-invasive Management

Clinical Invasive Management

Overall Management of day to day working of CCU / Wards / Cath lab
Morning /round off all patients before consultants round
Categorizing High risk Patient
Consultant to be informed about the status of the patients twice per day for high risk and once per day for others patients.
Discharge/transfer responsibility along with consultation with consultant consent
Administrative Control of other junior medical staff
Ensure documentation history & physical examination
Formulate differential diagnosis
Develops and documents initial plan of care*
Modifies daily plan of care*
Writes progress notes
Obtain and document informed consent
Order appropriate referrals*
Order appropriate investigations
Interpret hemodynamic parameters in critically ill patients*
Interpret laboratory & radiology results
Orders transfusions of blood and blood products
Order appropriate medication and other orders
Prepare an appropriate discharge summary
Communicate information to relatives about the patient condition twice a day for critical patient and once a day for other patients.
Hand over during the shift change.

Perform digital rectal examination
Perform cardio-pulmonary resuscitation
Ordersadjusts artificial feeding modalities
Interpret non-invasive cardiac testing
Perform bed side ECHO

Inserts central venous catheter
Performs oral endotracheal intubation
Performs nasogastric intubation
Inserts urethral catheter
Assist angiographic procedures*
Temporary pacing

*Procedure always discussion or presence of Consultant and above
