Senior Quality Engineer

As a Software QA Engineer at Red Hat, your role is crucial in the development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for company products. You will be responsible for debugging software products through systematic tests, developing and executing software test plans, and analyzing test results to ensure existing functionality. Your expertise will be valuable in providing feedback for technical appraisals and ensuring quality computer integration into scientific computation and data processing functions. Key Responsibilities: - Learn Red Hat's networking technologies, tools, and stack - Reproduce and verify bugs, especially customer bugs, and add test coverage accordingly in areas such as NIC Drivers, SR-IOV, OpenvSwitch (OVS), IPv6, tunnel, Bonding, Vlan, PTP, etc. - Run regression tests, review results, and provide accurate testing status reports - Collaborate with developers to review test gaps Qualifications Required: - Degree in computer science or a similar field with 3+ years of professional experience - Knowledge in at least 2 areas of 802.1x, hostapd, netfilter, IPV6, VLAN, bonding, route, tunnel, NIC driver, SR-IOV, and precision time protocol (PTP) - Expertise in programming languages like Python, bash, or C - Solid understanding of and direct experience with the Linux environment - Knowledge of operating systems, hardware, and kernel concepts - Solid debugging, troubleshooting, and diagnostic skills - Experience with container or virtualization technologies - Good communication skills,
