Senior Quality Assurance Tester

As a Senior Quality Assurance Tester at Programmers.IO, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of software products by collaborating with cross-functional agile project teams. Your responsibilities will include identifying, documenting, and prioritizing software issues throughout the software development lifecycle. You will design and execute test cases and plans to verify software product functionality and performance, as well as create automated test scripts to increase testing effectiveness and accuracy. In this role, you will work closely with the Business Analysis team to review Non-Functional Requirements and provide necessary feedback. You will design Load Models and Performance Test Scenarios based on the Test Strategy to test Performance Requirements and identify Test Data needs. Using Performance Testing tools such as HP LoadRunner, NeoLoad, JMeter, or WebLoad, you will build Performance Test scripts and scenarios, identify Measurement points, and create Performance Test Reports with recommendations for Performance Optimization. As a creative thinker, you will be able to quickly identify and test for functional edge cases beyond expected functionality workflows. You will have the opportunity to become an expert in various testing areas, including Unit testing, UX Testing, UI Testing, Integration testing of APIs, Performance and scalability testing, and Security Penetration Testing. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in QA automation with at least 3+ years of experience. Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or C++, as well as experience in writing, executing, and monitoring automated test suites using technologies such as Cucumber, Selenium, or SoapUI, is required. Additionally, you should have at least 2 years of experience with Load & Performance tools like Microfocus LoadRunner, Apache JMeter, Neoload, or Gatling for scripting, execution, and analysis. A good understanding of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL is also preferred. If you have 6 to 12 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree, preferably in B.E / B.
