Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

As a Mobile Automation Engineer (Native iOS & Android) at Flam, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and scalability of our native iOS and Android apps that deliver immersive Mixed Reality (MR) experiences to mobile users. Your responsibilities will include: - Writing and maintaining automation test cases in Swift (XCUITest) for iOS and Java (Espresso/UIAutomator) for Android. - Building and evolving robust test suites for core app features, including MR interactions, media workflows, and camera/sensor integrations. - Automating end-to-end flows that involve backend APIs such as authentication, media processing, and analytics. - Collaborating with developers to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines like GitHub Actions and Bitrise. - Performing regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across various devices and OS versions. - Raising and tracking bugs with detailed reproduction steps and logs. To qualify for this role, you should have: - 3-6 years of experience in mobile test automation. - Strong programming skills in Java (for Android) and Swift (for iOS). - Hands-on experience with Espresso, UIAutomator, and XCUITest. - Proficiency in testing REST APIs and using tools like Postman, Charles Proxy, etc. - Experience working with CI/CD tools and device testing infrastructure. Additionally, the following qualifications will be a bonus: - Exposure to ARKit (iOS) or ARCore (Android). - Basic understanding of graphics/rendering stacks such as OpenGL, Metal, or Vulkan. - Experience testing camera, sensor, or motion-driven features. - Background in early-stage startup environments or rapid product development cycles.
