Senior QA/Tester

As a Tester in an agile team, your role goes beyond testing both Word Add-in & React Web app software. You will be the quality champion empowering teams to build highly performant and secure systems. It is essential to approach testing entrepreneurially by exploring unhappy paths and edge cases to ensure a highly resilient system. Your expertise in automated and manual testing will be crucial in efficiently covering the system's functionality while maintaining high quality standards. Adapting to a dynamic work environment, you are committed to the principle of automating everything. Your responsibilities will include ensuring thorough testing of every feature developed by the team, utilizing a blend of automated and manual testing methods to maintain quality standards. Providing detailed defect information to the team and collaborating with the Scrum master and Product Owner to prioritize fixes will be part of your routine. You will focus on automating and enhancing test suites with a continuous improvement mindset, working closely with IT and operations to conduct tests in production environments post-deployment for quality assurance. Being well-versed in the product vision, you will collaborate with designers and the Product Owner to translate their vision into effective tests. Identifying key risk areas in new solutions in partnership with development teams and staying updated on industry best practices and testing standards will be integral to your role. Active participation in scrum ceremonies to offer clarifications and problem-solving support to the team is expected. Your key skills and domain expertise will include significant experience as an exploratory tester across multiple platforms, proficiency in manual acceptance testing at the story level, and adeptness at identifying hidden requirements and edge cases. You should have experience in implementing automated end-to-end tests using frameworks like BDD, Appium, and Selenium, with the ability to code in Javascript. Strong knowledge of testing GenAI application, LLM models, and data pipelines is required, along with the ability to test both Desktop Word Add-in apps on Windows & MacOS and WebApps on various browsers and operating systems. In terms of Agile/Digital experience, a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and prior experience as a tester in a cross-functional agile team is preferred. Individual skills such as effective communication of technical concepts, problem-solving abilities, and collaboration for innovative solutions are essential.
