Job Title: Senior QA Engineer (Automation Testing-Selenium)

Experience Required

Senior QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Automation Framework Design

  : Lead the design and development of

  automation frameworks

   using

  Selenium WebDriver

   and

  Java

  , ensuring scalability and maintainability.

• Test Strategy & Planning

  : Develop test strategies, plans, and approaches for automation testing to ensure comprehensive coverage of application features.

• Test Script Development

  : Create, enhance, and maintain

  automated test scripts

   and ensure they are robust and reusable.

• Collaboration

  : Work closely with

  Agile

   teams to understand project requirements, provide automation insights, and help deliver high-quality software.

• Bug Tracking & Reporting

  : Use

  JIRA

   to track defects and provide detailed defect analysis to assist in continuous improvement.

• Mentorship

  : Mentor junior team members in automation testing best practices, tool usage, and troubleshooting.

• SQL & Database Testing

  : Write and execute complex

  SQL queries

   to validate data integrity and consistency.

• Test Execution & Reporting

  : Run test scripts, analyze test results, report progress, and work to fix any issues discovered during testing.

• Enhance Automation Strategy

  : Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of

  test automation strategies

   and

  frameworks

  .

Required Skills

• Selenium WebDriver & Java

  : Advanced experience with

  Selenium WebDriver

   and

  Java

   in an automation testing environment.

• Automation Framework Development

  : Expertise in

  designing

   and

  implementing robust automation frameworks

  .

• BDD Framework (Cucumber)

  : Experience using

  Cucumber

   for writing automated BDD tests.

• Agile Methodology

  : Strong understanding of

  Agile

   practices and experience working in Agile teams.

• SQL Skills

  : Advanced knowledge of

  SQL

   for complex data validation and query execution.

• Mentorship

  : Experience in guiding and mentoring junior team members in best testing practices.

• Bug Tracking

  : Proficient in using

  JIRA

   for bug tracking and reporting.

Education Criteria

• Bachelors degree

   in

  Computer Science

  ,

  Engineering

  , or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in QA or Automation Testing are a plus.
